Miami Art Central (MAC) is a not-for-profit institution dedicated to the presentation of exhibitions and programs that explore contemporary art and culture. Its mission is to provide an alternative, experimental space with a multidisciplinary focus. MAC is committed to stimulating and nurturing a dialogue with the various communities of South Florida and beyond. Support for Miami Art Central is provided by the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation.

The MDC Galleries of Art + Design is a network of venues and initiatives at the College's North, Kendall, Wolfson, InterAmerican, Homestead, Hialeah, and West campuses located throughout South Florida, including the expansive Miami International Sculpture Park situated at the North Campus. Miami Dade College utilizes its gallery spaces, its art in public spaces, its staff and visual resources, as well as the expertise and artistic talents of faculty and students at MDC, to provide yearlong programming of activities that offer a unique learning experience through direct contact with works of art, artists, designers, and creative professionals.
