The Earth Science Learning center is located in our retail store in Angels Camp. We teach the "Earth in a Nutshell" program where you will learn that you can't live without rocks and that you eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The presentation is for all groups - public, private and home schools, gem and mineral societies and service organizations. In fact, any group of all ages from first grade to graduate geologists.

We're now open in a spectacular new location at Pier 15 on the Embarcadero at Green St. in San Francisco. There are 150 new exhibits for a total of 600, indoors and out, including many beloved classics; a Bay Observatory; a bigger focus on tinkering and social science; and more. Come explore!

Estrella Warbird Museum

Adopting a name to memorialize the World War II Estrella Army Air Force Base that is now Paso Robles Municipal Airport, the Museum was chartered as a not-for-profit California corporation in 1995, and 501(c.3) accreditation soon followed to establish us with the US Departments of Navy and Air Force, as well as the state of California, as an organization approved to receive surplus aircraft and other government properties.

Located on the airport proper, the Museum is one of the few "fly-in or drive-in" facilities in the nation, and has over 200 members who rub elbows and enjoy the camaraderie at our monthly dinner meetings. Presently, hours are limited to Friday through Monday, and there is a minimal charge for admission to the Museum or its grounds.

The Eyelusion Museum is a fun and fascinating hands-on museum exploring visual phenomena in a beautifully restored 1964 Airstream Globetrotter trailer. It tours festivals and fairs throughout the western states. More information can be found at www.eyelusion.com.
