Description

The Museum is available to host any size group, from six to 130 or more. Groups of twenty or more receive a discount on admission costs.

The months of May and October are especially busy with school groups, while summertime brings day care groups and adult bus tours. If your group is small, such as six to 19, it's still a good idea to make reservations, so that guides may be available to give you an interesting tour.

Autos on display include Model Ts, Packards, two Peoria-built Glides from the late teens, a 1925 Velie built in Moline, Illinois, and other vehicles, dating from the teens to the 80s.

Outdoors there is the #886 Rock Island steam locomotive, with tender, a Milwaukee Road combine car, a TP&W caboose two Pullman cars and a Plymouth switch engine. There is an operating old-fashioned windmill and a gazebo where you can have a picnic lunch, or just visit with friends.

Museum offers the public displays of artifacts from the 20th century, and features many items from Peoria's industrial and farm history. A popular tour destination for school children and adults alike.
