The museum showcases local western memorabilia, an extensive arrowhead collection, a general store, antique household appliances, examples of early pioneer living and a rotating art exhibit.
The Seagraves-Loop Museum and Art Center was founded in 1972. After a fire
destroyed the town in 1928, the museum was housed in one of two remaining buildings. It carries a Historical Marker.
Indian artifacts, local history, local art.
The museum provides yearly tours for the county school children and an annual Christmas
Party for the community. Also, it works with the local teachers for special educational lectures,
and tours. Programs are available for tour/loan. General material on the facilities and one on a
Southwestern Public Service Display, given to the museum by the company are usable by other
institutions; no fee for borrowing materials.
The museum would like to publish a newsletter; Guide to the Identification of Certain American Indian Projectile Points by Robert E. Bell.
