The Cleveland County Historical Society has a large collection of Victorian territorial-era merchandise, art, photographs, documents, textiles, furniture, crafts and hand-made items. 30% of artifacts and 98% of furnishings are on display in 2,000 sqaure feet of the 2,400 sqaure feet available. The artifacts fill all the rooms in the house excep two, the office and the rotating exhibit space. The rest of the collection is housed in storage and is rotated quarterly. Since we are a historic museum we also consider our house to be a part of our collections (if not the biggest part). The house was built in 1899 by one of Norman's prominent families and still stands on its original lot on the original Norman town site. The house is one of the few unchanged examples of Victorian Queen Anne architecture left in the area.
