Box Elder Museum

Description

The Box Elder Museum is a new natural history museum in Brigham City, Utah. It opened in the King Building in 2009, and moved to a larger space in the Hervin Bunderson Center in 2010. Current displays incude a variety of fossils and minerals -- from Box Elder County, throughout Utah, and the world.

Programs

The museum also offers internships to college students or recent graduates with an interest in museum work. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of museum duties and may have the opportunity to focus on a project of particular interest. Areas of potential work include collections (art, history, and natural history), publishing/photography/graphic design, research, oral history, or other aspects of museum operations (including communications, fund-raising, marketing, technology, event planning, etc.).
