The Museum houses vintage wine making equipment, old photographs, documents/ledgers of the 1930-40's winery era, vintage wine bottles and more. Visit the "Reel Little Theater" to view a short film that documents life in Rosati as told by those community members that experienced it.
There is also a section of the museum dedicated to historic Route 66 that highlights the areas past businesses when in 1929, the Mother Road made its way through Knobview/Rosati.
Do you want a unique museum experience; buy a glass or bottle of wine from the tasting room and proceed to sip and learn as you wander through the museum.
A room full of character that will surround you in wine history. The Event Room is in the original 1934 era wine processing area, featuring exposed wood beams and rustic brick-faced walls. Modern amenities have been added including a kitchen, internet access and trellis covered deck. This room can accommodate up to 100 guests and is available for Private Parties, Weddings, Receptions, Family Reunions and Business Meetings.
Be sure to stop in the Rosati Winery Museum Gift Shop for a unique wine tasting experience. We have complimentary tastings of selected wines from one of eight rotating wine regions in Missouri. You will be able to sample at least two varietals from each of the four outstanding wineries of the selected wine region
Like what you taste; buy it by the glass, bottle, cellar sampler or grab yourself a "Rosati Suit Case" (Mix and match 12 bottles of wine that suit you and get a 15% discount).
Looking for more than wine? The Gift Shop has cheese and crackers available to snack on, unique wine accessories, and Route 66 merchandise. And don't leave without visiting the upper level Art and Photo Gallery featuring local photographer Lynn Burgher with her unique eye on nature and New Mexico artist Paula Reid who brings her special color palate to images of Missouri.
The Rosati Winery Museum is dedicated to the Italian immigrants that came to America in search of a better way of life and formed the community of Rosati and developed the areas wine industry. It documents the community and winery history from 1898 to 1988.
