ABOUT

Was your desire to speed down the track in candy apple red Corvette Sting Ray? Or maybe a Mustang GT500 is more your style? Sean’s dream since he could remember was his Pop’s ’59 Cadillac Coup De Ville. He never saw the car in the daylight growing up, it stayed safe, covered up in his Pop’s shop. Years after his Pop passed the Caddy still sat in the shop, it’s future unknown. After a lot of heart, time and some needed cooperation from Sean’s dad Pop’s 59 made the long trip from the sunny west coast to her new home in the south.

Before the car made it off the transporter offers were made, pictures were taken and the love for this car was felt. Sean knew he couldn’t lock her up in the garage, he had to let her sing. Fast forward dozens of car shows, impromptu photo shoots, magazine articles and an immense online following, Sean meets Larry and tells him about Pop’s 59 and about his dreams of sharing her, and more cars with automotive lovers everywhere.

This chance meeting between two car enthusiasts would change their lives, and make big changes to the old Ford dealership in Toccoa, GA. The men had a vision and the spark to follow a dream. Immediately the daunting task of turning a 1940’s deserted dealership into a destination for car buffs, buyers and cruisers began. Within months the doors open.

MILES THROUGH TIME OPENS 14,000 SQ FT OF A CAR LOVER’S DREAM.

But there’s a twist in the Miles Through Time experience. It’s not your usual car museum. Sean and Larry invite YOU to get your baby out of the garage, out from under that tarp and out where the public can safely cherish your four-wheeled treasure. That’s right, your car or motorcycle can be part of this living museum. MTT will store her, keep her safe and secure and allow the public to experience her beauty. From a safe distance of course. She will proudly sit between Sean and Larry’s personal collection for all to see.

We believe treasures shouldn’t be buried, but be out to be admired by the dreamers and car lovers. And we don’t lock her up, just let us know when you want to take her out for a cruise and we’ll get her ready for you. Just bring her back when you’re done and we will park her back with her classic cronies.

A VISIT TO MILES THROUGH TIME WILL BE A NEW EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME YOUR FOOT HITS THE FLOOR.

Not only to view, we also have vehicles on consignment so perhaps your visit will allow you to find a new dream machine. You can check our website for our full list of cars for sale, or stop by to check out the inventory. Additions to our collection are added each week, so if you enjoy classics, exotics, motorcycles, car memorabilia, automotive art, gas pumps and vintage car finds you will be excited to experience our growing collection.

Host your event at the museum

The Lounge: There are a lot of options when it comes to looking for an event space, but why not go with the most unique? Miles Through Time Automotive Museum is a 10,000 sqft historic building filled with over 100 years of automotive history. The Lounge located in the rear of the museum is capable of hosting special events for over 50 people. There is a “Coyote Ugly” bar built entirely out of 4 x 4 post. There is also rocking chairs, stools, tables and chairs. If more tables and chairs are needed accomidations maybe made. Most events are held during normal business hours in a 4 hour block. The lounge is great for special events like: birthdays, family reunions, business meetings and any general gathering of like-minded people.

The Museum: If you need more space than just the lounge area there are options to spread out. Options are on a case by case, but could increase the seating capacity substantially by extending into the main part of the museum. In most cases this would be for special private events where the entire museum would be rented out and closed to the general public. This would be great for larger birthday parties, corporate events, meeting or weddings/receptions. Please note if you are interested in renting out the space for weddings/receptions you will need to contact us.

Car Shows: Miles Through Time host numerous car shows and cruise-ins throughout the year. Contact us to so we can host your next car show or cruise-in. Why have your car show at the museum in Toccoa? Because we have a huge parking lot located right on the corner of Big A Rd and Currahee with great visibility. When it comes to marking your car show we’ve got you covered. We can help you create your event for social media and help reach thousands of participants and visitors.
