Description

The Tavern is is home to four artisan guilds, which all demonstrate on-site, give classes to the public and sell their wares. This includes the Blacksmiths, the Woodworkers, the Quilters and the Spinners & Weavers.

The Tavern also houses the "Heritage Arts Center" Gift Shoppe, which sells the handcrafts made by over 100 local artists and artisans. Several artisans also have their studios in residence.

The Tavern Cafe provides light luncheon fare, all made by the volunteers of the Tavern Culinary Group. The Tavern is also the sponsor of the Heathsville Farmers Market. There are also several "museum" rooms, but the Tavern focuses on "living history" through our guilds and classes in the heritage arts.
