Description

Kidspace's mission is to enrich the lives of children with exhibits and programs about arts, science and humanities designed to inspire exploration, investigation and expression. Kidspace features the Bug Diner, Bug Inn, Team Quake, Nature Exchange, Trike Tracks, 2.2 acres of outdoor learning environments and 2 40-foot climbing towers.

History

Founded in 1979, Kidspace recently reopened at a new 3.5 acre site next to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Programs

Kidspace offers Discovery Programs for school group visitors, on topics ranging from bugs, dinosaurs, spiders, plants and water. Kidspace educators also lead short programs throughout the day for all museum guests. Special events and programming, including a Visiting Artists program and the SunSational Sunday series, make every visit to Kidspace unique.
