Youth Programs:
• CAMPS are centered on teaching students using hands-on, entertaining methods in an educational setting. Approximately 2,000 youth experience camps each year.
• FIELD TRIPS provide in-depth, interactive experiences that relate to the FCAT and Florida Sunshine Standards.
• SCIENCE COMPETITIONS encourage science learning through research and experiment based projects.
• OUTREACH PROGRAMS deliver educational programming to schools and community organizations.
Early Learning Programs:
• CHILDREN'S MUSEUM is in the development stages at the Center.
• PRE-SCHOOL meets individual learning styles, stimulating progression at a child's own pace.
General Audience Programs:
• OTRONICON is an interactive event that allows the general public to see the science, technology, and art behind digital media.
• GREENOVATIONS hosts speakers, workshops, and films on conservation, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
• MISSION NUTRITION, a Scienterrific Saturday event, focuses on the importance of health and fitness in our daily lives.
On-going Sponsored Education Programs:
• A.W.E.S.O.M.E (Alternative Water and Energy Supply; Observation, Methods and Education) PROGRAM is an outreach program that has provided in-classroom workshops to over 7,500 5th grade students. The program focuses on the importance of alternative energy usage and the practice of water conservation.
• NURSING CAREERS PATHWAYS INITIATIVE engages students in health education and gives them an opportunity to explore medical career options. The program includes outreach programs to schools and summer academy camps.
• SCIENCE LITERACY PROGRAM AT EVANS HIGH SCHOOL will provide teachers with professional development sessions, students with in-class workshops, and families with a family science day at Evans High School. These efforts will encourage the Pine Hills community and its families to learn together and support academic achievement.
