The UNI Museum is comprised of the University Museum (a museum of nature and culture) and the Marshall Center School (a restored historic one-room schoolhouse). They are administered by the Department of Museums & Collections at the University of Northern Iowa, within the Rod Library.
With an international collection of over 75,000 items, this natural history museum opens a "window on the world"---from shells to mastodon bones, African antelope to Peruvian textiles.
The Department also serves in an advisory role to academic departments for teaching collections across campus.

The Museum is open all hours that Rod Library is open; staff are available for questions from 7:30am - 5pm weekdays.
