A restored 1924 Atlantic Coastline Railroad depot, the museum is home to the history of Southwest Florida from Paleo man and animals through the 20th Century. Special attractions are a pioneer “cracker” house, 1926 La France fire pumper and 1929 private Pullman rail car.
The collection, preservation and interpretation of history and traditions, with particular emphasis on Southwest Florida.
