Description

As an outgrowth of a local middle school project on the Holocaust, the Museum focuses on educating students and visitors through its collection and special exhibits and events . The inclusion of individual stories of local SWFL residents who are Holocaust Survivors, Camp Liberators and WWII Veterans "makes history personal".

To promote respect and understanding using the history and lessons of the Holocaust.

History

Museum now entering its 12th year, since its founding as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in late 2001.

Artifact Collections

The Museum's permanent collection, displayed chronologically, features over 1,000 photographs and artifacts of WWII and the Holocaust.
