A few of the Society's responsibilities include providing educational lectures to schools, news programs, and various other organizations, as well as creating and providing a library of reference materials to share. In addition to an extensive library of books, catalogues, pamphlets, and brochures, the Society has developed a museum displaying multiple artifacts and memorabilia representing various decades of Middletown history.
Sponsoring annual and semiannual public events including a Native American Pow Wow and Museum Open Houses, the Middletown Area Historical Society continues to try to provide for the public opportunities to learn about the history of its community.
Through the hard work and dedication of its trustees, members and volunteers, the Middletown Area Historical Society continues to provide a valuable service to Middletown and its surrounding areas.
The Middletown Area Historical Society is a non-profit organization devoted to servicing Middletown, Pennsylvania and the surrounding communities.
