Description

Originally built in 1901-02, this two story sandstone structure housed the Apache State Bank offices and other businesses throughout the years. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it now houses the museum, which displays local history including period clothing and antique furniture, books, more than 600 local photographs, original bank fixtures, art, medical and dental equipment, and other collections and memorabilia of many past citizens of Apache. Other group services can include a tour of the Mo Betta shirt factory. Admission is free, but donations accepted. Credit to Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department.
