Description

Schack Art Center is a visual arts education center located in downtown Everett, WA. Our facilities include professional and student exhibit galleries, hot shop for glass blowing, artist production studios, classrooms, and a gift shop.

Mission

Schack Art Center celebrates and promotes the arts for the enhancement of community life.

History

For more than 36 years the Arts Council of Snohomish County has been the place to see art, learn about art, and celebrate art.

In 2006, we initiated a capital campaign to build a permanent home for our organization. We created a partnership with Artspace Projects, Inc. to build a multi-use regional arts center in downtown Everett. The street level of this new facility is being built-out as a visual arts education center, the Schack Art Center.

Now that we've opened the Schack Art Center, we will continue to enrich our community through art education programs, admission free exhibits, and annual special events.

Educational Programs

Schack Art Center offers a wide range of educational programs for K-college students including field trips, teacher workshops, docent fair, curriculum guides, and student art contests and exhibits.
