Founded in 1976 by the veterans of the 248th and 14th Coast Artillery to preserve and interpenetrate the history of the Coast Artillery.
The Museum's collection includes uniforms, arms, models, photographs and drawings covering the history of the Coast Artillery Corps as well as other units that were stationed at Fort Worden.
The museum has in its collection over 3,000 photographs and around 1,000 drawings associated with the history of Fort Worden and the Coast Artillery. The museum has a library and large artifact collection that is available for research to the museum members.
