Description

The Branigan Cultural Center is housed in a 1935 Territorial Style building. Exhibit include: "Las Cruces: Crossroads of History" a permanent regional history exhibit, two changing exhibit galleries and educational programming provide insight into the region's interesting past and lively present.

History

The Branigan Cultural Center has as its focus the history and culture of the region. Built during the Great Depression to serve as the City's main library, this building was rededicated as a city cultural facility in 1981. The building is on the National and New Mexico State Registry of Historic Places.
