We show you how and provide the equipment to enjoy a day at the creek and amongst the old buildings preserved and surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenic mountains. Crow Creek Mine if for history buffs, children, gardeners and anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Over the years people have found other ways to enjoy Crow Creek Mine for more than just gold mining. From weddings (small and large), to business retreats, birthday parties, television shows (most recently featured on Sept. 8th 2008 NBC - America’s Toughest Jobs), photography shoots, the Alaska Gold Show, etc... we try our best to provide a place for each groups unique and special occasion. History

Discovered in 1896, Crow Creek Mine was one of the largest producing hydraulic gold mines in Southcentral Alaska. A large collection of hydraulic mining equipment and 8 historical buildings are on display from the gold rush era and beyond.

Hydraulic mining, general camp life including messhall supplies, barn, commisary, blacksmith shop, ice house, meat cache, lodging, tools etc.

At Crow Creek Mine we believe that since we are a real gold mine, all of our visitors should get a real experience. History and mining tours are guided directly by Nate Wiliamson, part of the family and the mine operations manager. Guided trips are 2.5 hours but can be customized to meet your groups needs.
