Description
Our Location

We are right behind the old Middleborough Police Station on Jackson St. in Middleborough, MA From route 44 follow directions to Middleborough Center on Route 105. Jackson St. will be on your left and is next to the police station and across from the library. The Museum is behind the police station. Parking is available next to the museum. From I-495 take exit 4 Route 105 to Middleborough Center. Jackson St. will be on your right just past the traffic lights in downtown Middleborough.

History

The Middleborough Historical Museum was founded in 1960. The museum has grown to include seven buildings on about one acre.

Artifact Collections

Featured is one of the country's largest collections of Tom Thumb memorabilia. Displays in six other buildings compare life in the late 1800-early 1900s with life of today.

Research Collections

Research collections include written & printed documents, directories, and photographs.

Educational Programs

School field trips welcomed Slide programs available to civic organizations Educational programs on site or at off site location
