The collection includes approximately 150 vehicles and hundreds of uniforms, weapons and smaller artifacts. The majority of this collection comes from the former Victory Memorial Museum that was located in Messancy, Belgium.

Before you make your visit to the museum, be sure to check our hours of business along with location of the museum. While Auburn is a quaint little town there are other museums to visit and some historic houses on Main Street that are worth a drive by. Then when you are hungry there are quite a few unique places to eat and then head to the antique shops in town. Lodging is not a problem in Auburn if you care to take your time in our museum and need another day on your visit.

Formerly the WWII Victory Museum, the National Military History Center contains one of the largest, most captivating collections of WWII artifacts ever assembled. Our mission is to emphasize preservation, education and inspiration by spotlighting the personalities, technologies and conflicts that have defined America’s military from the Revolutionary War through today. The National Military History Center is also home to the Kruse Automotive & Carriage Museum, the NE Indiana Racing Museum, and the NE Indiana Baseball Association and Hall of Fame. The NMHC is currently working on efforts to expand with new galleries dedicated to Young America’s military, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, and today’s War on Terror.
