The Museum presents the history of Polk County and Central Florida through exhibits on pioneers, military, industry, community and the environment as well as a general store, changing exhibit gallery and children’s room. Two restored courtrooms are available for rental.

To actively collect, conserve and interpret objects related to Central Florida's past encouraging our citizen's knowledge and appreciation of Polk County's valuable and diverse heritage.
