The Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, is devoted to showcasing diverse exhibitions, providing arts education to the community, and serving as the ultimate hang out for artists, students, and those who appreciate art.
In service to the public, the mission of the Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale is to actively engage diverse audiences in the appreciation of works of art through innovative exhibitions, education programs, publications, and collection activities. International in scope, while reflecting the creative expression of our region, the Museum explores the broadest spectrum of visual culture at the highest level of quality.
Our Arts Education classes are taught by professional working artists. Classes include instruction in painting, drawing, design, and art history.
We also offer classes for students in grades 1 - 12. Scholarships are available.
We also offer art classes for adults in the evenings.
